This is my new aquisition a 1992 SE, needs a bit of work but ho hum
Good number plate too

Very pleased with BAM, it came with every piece of paper supplied when new; First aid and safety by the roadside, warranty terms, shift lock, passenger car fuel consumption order 1983.
Even chassis/body parts catalogue.
Every MOT and the handover checklist.
The clear plastic folder is ripped though... I love all this stuff
Sorry just expressing my joy :-)

Well yes it was my 2nd BUT... I put her in for a pre-emptive MOT to see what was needed but it was to far gone to save, so I used it as a parts car.
The rot was extensive and structural as well as both front and rear suspension needing so much work.
It would have cost thousands JUST to get MOTd and that was with me doing the work.
I do hate taking the life of a car but on this it was inevitable
However it has aforded me the opportunity to remove clean and/or repair lots of parts for Helga...

Fair enough, some just have to be sacrificed to keep others on the road don't they. It's really handy having a spares car.

That it is
If I do a job I like to do other stuff around it so what makes the second car handy is the ability to repair a part first without taking Helga off the road and then be ready to just exchange parts.
I am just rebuilding the 4 calipers at the moment

It might be quite a good idea to get some technicial posts on the forum of how to do things like rebuilding calipers, and countless other things of course. I'm not great with the technical side of things but so bits and pieces where I can, and good detailed instructions will help other owners as well.
