| I am listed as the ADMIN but will be known as Greeney generally
I live between France and the UK as I have properties in both countries.
I own a low(ish) mileage 98k 420SE 1988 which I rescued from the crusher, it is in great condition but still needs a bit of TLC
I love driving it
I have 23 cars in total everything from French classics like the DS and the Traction Avant to a Mercedes GWagen
I live in the Canterbury area of KENT |

| Thanks for that, More than happy to help anyone. I have spent many years working with these cars, i dont know everything but i do my best  .The 126 cars are arguably the best thing Mercedes ever made.  |

Wow Greeney that's a fair number of cars to have! lot's of spannering to keep you busy!
Where do you have property en France? I was in Cognac the other year lovely town, nice little drink too, Otard very nice ust can't get it here in the UK. Doh!

Hi guys,
My first post on this forum to introduce myself, and my 1991 420SE (I also have a 1990 260E). I bought my 420SE in February last year with 155k on the clock. She has a little rust on the front wings, and the chrome on the bumpers, but other than that no more rust to worry about. The only problem is the lacquer is crazed, so eventually I will have the car repainted.
Mechanically she is pretty much A1 because the engine had a rebuild about 25k ago so she runs great. I think, however, the baffles have gone somewhere in the exhaust. Does anyone know where I can get a good quality stainless (or steel) exhaust for less than an arm and a leg? Does anyone have a decent second hand exhaust from a breaker maybe? Looking forward to more posts soon!

| Hi Roderick you are very welcome here.
Firstly can I say this is only just up and running and there is not a lot of activity yet but hopefully that will change.
You didn't say WHERE you are from which may help your request a little regarding the exhaust.
I purchased mine from a German eBayer for 600€ for a near complete system but localish to me in ashford in Kent is a company called Ashford Motorsport that fabricates by hand and I had my GWagen one made for 400quid and that is not an easy system as it goes over the tank.
Anyway post some pics of your car for us all to see
